ABOUT THE PALACE

The Tauride Palace is a unique architectural and historic monument. The palace has a rich history. It was built for Prince Grigory Potemkin. In 1792 it became a residence of the imperial family. Between 1906 and 1917 the palace was the seat of the Imperial State Duma. Today it is home to the Interparliamentary Assembly of member nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Guided tour of the ceremonial halls

In the company of an expert guide, you will be taken on a tour of three ceremonial halls, including the magnificent Duma Hall, where the Imperial State Duma held its meetings. You will also visit other splendid rooms of the Tauride Palace and the exhibitions dedicated to the history of the palace, its residents and Russian parliamentarism.

Duration: 1 hour

DATE AND TIME

Guided tours take place on Monday – Thursday from 10:00 to 17:00, on Friday from 10:00 to 16:00.
Guided tours are given upon request.

We reserve the right to cancel a guided tour (with prior notification of those who signed up) if there are less than 5 people in the group for a particular tour.
